Step 1: Login from your Merit welcome email
Your Merit page is created by your school, employer, honor society, or other organization that you are affiliated with. When your page is created, you'll receive a welcome email from Merit, with your username and temporary password.

Step 2: Choose a custom URL for your page:
Choose a custom URL for your page, by typing your first and last name, or anything else you wish to use.
Step 3: Connect Facebook and LinkedIn accounts
Click "Import from Facebook" or the "import from LinkedIn" buttons to connect your accounts. These options are also available in the account settings section of your Merit page.
Import from Facebook
If you choose to connect with Facebook, you will be prompted to allow certain permissions to Merit. These requests allow Merit to use your listed biography, profile photo, job experience, and listed high school to populate fields on your Merit Page, as well as allowing Facebook to auto-post achievements to your Facebook Profile. To allow these permissions, select Okay at each prompt.
Auto - posting from Facebook can be configured at any time without disconnecting Merit from Facebook.
Import from LinkedIn
If you choose to import with LinkedIn, you will be prompted to allow certain permissions to Merit. These requests allow Merit to use your listed biography, profile photo, and current job experience to populate fields on your Merit Page, as well as allowing LinkedIn to auto-post achievements as a LinkedIn status. To allow these permissions, select Allow Access.
