Claiming your Merit page is easy, follow these steps:
1. Find your Merit page by going to meritpages.com. Type your name in the search field.
2. Click on the "Is this you?" link to the right of your name.
Is there no "Is this you?" link? Let us know here and we'll help you out.
3. For verification purposes, you will be asked to enter your email. After you enter your email click submit. You will receive an email with instructions for signing-in.
4. After you find the email with a subject line "Claim your Merit page." Click on the link and lightbox will appear. You will be presented with three options for claiming your Merit page: Facebook, Twitter, or email. Note: if you choose Facebook, you will be able to set your own privacy conditions and permissions.
Once you have logged in using Facebook, Twitter, or email and password, you will enter a short workflow that will allow you to customize your Merit page, e.g., add a profile image, cover photo, activities, and work experience.
Establishing a positive online identity, with a collection of college achievements, will benefit you as you move forward in your academic career and later on when you seek employment.
